End of TPS has nothing to do with the asylum hearing. Court jada detain huna sakcha, ready bhara janu. Ahile ko news anusaar case dismiss gardai detain garera expedited removal gari racha re. Hope you have a good Immigration Attorney working on your case.

All the asylum cases in front of IJ is a defensive asylum. Affirmative asylum is at the USCIS office. If they refer you to EOIR, it becomes defensive asylum. People are getting detained while getting out of courthouse. Don’t believe this stupid who** and talk to experienced attorney if you want to avoid detention. Once TPS ends and if ICE dismiss the asylum case, you are out of status and can get detained. You can still ask BIA to look at your case, or they might expedite removal just like they are doing these days.
