I need some help using the online airfare sites like expedia.com, orbitz.com, travelocity.com and airfare.com. Travelocity.com and airfare.com provided me with the best rates. If anyone here in sajha has used these sites for buying tickets, could you tell me which one is better. I am buying a ticket for travel from US to Europe.
Thanks.

expedia is fairly good if you buy well in advance of your travel date. orbitz is also not bad. i have been purchasing tickets from expedia for in and outside US for quite a few times and so far my experience has been good.

If you are a student, www.studentuniverse.com might be an option to look at. Sometimes, you can buy at reasonable rates.

Good Luck!

While on the subject. Try this new website which is really handy.

www.farecast.com

It tells you, much like stock trends, the trends of airfare prices. Are they going up? Are they going down? Should you buy now? Should you wait a while and buy later? It gives an educated guess on those matters.

Right now it has only two cities as point of origins, but you can vote to have them add your city and hopefully they will do so in very near future.

Thanks Chatmandude and everyone here who's replied.

So here's calling once again to people who have used travelocity.com and/or airfare.com or know anything about those two sites.

Thanks

With the advancement of science and technology, e-tickets (electronic tickets) system has been a common these days. It saves time as you do not have to go pick up your tickets. You just need to print out your e-ticket and verify your identity at the time of checking in.

Happy Journey "who" bhai! :)
