hey folks, here's a question for u all....are we nepalese or nepalis??

i've always referred to us as nepalese but a few days ago another fellow nepali?? nepalese??? was offended for referring to our people as nepalese....i thought our people are nepalese and language is nepali...but i guess both the people and the language can be the same like russian, spanish, etc.

will be interested in wat ur preference is :)
