Hi friend,

If you are planning for post-graduate study then no place can be better compared to United States. Post Grad study here is just graduate study. Master's and Ph.D are the entry level and believe me there is good funding available here(in form of assistantship). Especially in Ph.D, it is fully funded. Students normally get around $1100-1700 per month as stipend in addition to 100% tuition remission. The stipend amount varies according to university. If your motive is purely study then choose USA.

In case u need more information, I will be glad for that.

If you're planning for an MBA,
Macquarie university's Australia graduate school of Mgmt. (AGSM) is the best.

University of New south wales (UNSW) is good for international students if you can afford the fees.

Sydney University and Queensland University is good for economics, arts and politics.

Melbourne university is good for Law.

Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and Monash University and University of Technology(UTS) is good for technology.

For all business subjects such as accounting, finance, marketing, management, and hospitality..all are equally ok.. i think.

If you want to study, try the universities in the US, Canada and the UK, precisely in that order. In general, best schools in the world are pretty much concentrated in those three countries, with the US having the lion's share.

However, if you are looking for a place to settle down and live your life, I heard Australia is pretty swell place to be.

Just one correction to Kalebhoot's posting:

AGSM (Australian Graduate School of Management) is a joint venture of University of Sydney and University of New South Wales. Macquarie is not linked to AGSM in any way. AGSM is very strong at its alumni network and marketing its courses. Macquarie has great academics for Finance studies. At the end of the day, if you are looking to study postgrad and trying to do it for free, US is by far the best. Australian universities have almost non existent scholarships compared to those in the states.
