Folk, whoever out of status here in U.S gonna get legal status soon
criterias are
1. entered U.S. before 2004.
2. up to now, no felony in U.S..
3. paying Tax from job.
still more on the way, keep watch CSPAN tv.

i hope there are some provisions for Foreign students like me to get Green card. i really dont care much about what happens to the Illegals. honestly, i think they shouldnt let all the Illegals be legal. maybe half of them should be allowed to get legal.

This has been approved by senate committee which has to go through the full senate. Therefore, there might be so many changes. In addition, though president Bush is for guest worker program, he was against amnesty in his Naturalization ceremony address two days ago. However, whatever comes after senate discussion, we can expect something better than Frist's proposal (likely Republican candidate for presidency).

What will be the impact of this new proposed immigration law on the legal aliens to get greencard? Will it be more diffficult or easy or there wont be any effect?

I heard that they were discussing to establish a new F4 student visa category for Science and Technology students which will be kind of duel intent. Let's wait for the final voting from the senate. Then we can go through the full documents and see what's in there.
