Folks,
I am headed back to Kathmandu after 9 years here in the states.
I've heard that if you have USD on you, the customs agents will confiscate it. Did you guys just use your debit/credit card the whole time during your visit or some other way (traveller's check etc)? I would deeply appreciate any advice.

You can just have $$ coz ur from US. If they try to confiscate, then kick them in the nuts. One more from my side too.

How much cash did you guys carry? I am pretty sure inflation has taken its toll on everything because of all the political/economical upheaval. I plan on being there for two weeks. BTW, anybody headed to back on Cathay pacific on Jan 4th?
