I'm pulling out file names form mysql database. After I have all the file names from the database in a php array, i'm trying to check if the file exist by passing the filename one by one into another php file(which searches a directory to see if this file exists) and calling this php file via ajax each time. I have created DIVs in order to provide appropriate feedback once the callback completes. The problem is, only the last DIV gets updated! I want to update all t he DIVs and not just the last one. Please help.

seems to me that it is overriding the value everytime... u r checking... or it might not have got refresh..... after debugging if u can see the value been change bt if there is no effect then i guess it is not refreshing properly.. otherwise the value is been override each time u r checking...
