I am out of status but still going to college. And I am planning to go to Nepal this summer. Even my international advisor told me that they will give me new I-20 and i still have my visa valid so that i can come back to US.but in my passport i have a Visa for diffrent university and right now i'm at college. Therefore somewhere i have a fear that i will be stopped at port of entry while returning. So guys if u have gone through same problems than i'd really appreciate for ur comments..

I think when you are F-1. Your new I-20 is like your visa.

First of all, people do transfer schools and the information is updated in your SEVIS. So, the visa you got has nothing to do with it. How are you out of status if you have a valid visa and I-20? Who said you were out of status?
Unless of course you did some "jhol" in the middle. Moreover, how did you get a new I-20 if you were already out of status?

highway_2_hell bro, all u gotta do is wait for the new I-20 from your current college (which you are attending). Like bored said, your new I-20 is like your visa. Since the visa in your passport is for your previous university, a new I-20 is a must for you in order to travel.

I suggest you ask your international advisor for a new I-20 ASAP. I think, your advisor is just playing around with you. Getting a new I-20 is just a click away for your advisor if all of your other steps are completed such as transfer request accepted etc.
