I got mine from dreamhost.com they're giving it away for really cheap: 10 bucks a year. (120 bucks ko package ma 92% discount). pce

I have no idea about Godaddy.I would suggest you to register your domain name from Tucktail.com at reasonable price.They provide good service with customer support.
