Universities, institutes providing online courses are often blamed for scamming desperate students who indeed know that these courses are no-match to the on-site courses. If they get through, they say - "there is no difference," (or may say "the online courses are even better"). If they get into trouble, they say - "we are innocents", "we are victimized".

Obviously, the dude spent few years in online degree hence he is not gonna trash Online degrees.
Online degrees do have some merit. If you are already in a company and you need a degree to move up then online degree can help you. But manytimes recruiters don't look too fondly of online degrees if you are trying to get a new job. One thing is for sure, they do not carry same weigth as regular "on-campus" MBA.

Online degrees are not marked 'Online degrees.' There are many State Universities that give online degrees. There is no difference in the transcript between an online one or an oncampus one.
I do understand there is the University of Phoenix brand of online universities. But there are many big renowned campuses that give online degrees. How would an employer know?
