 can I take 2 laptops to Nepal

Hello everyone, I wanted to take two laptops to Nepal from USA. Is it possible to take two laptops without paying any custom charges??. I have transit in New Delhi too, will I have problem in TIA only or dhotis will also give problem, if I carry two laptop??

As long as the computers are in your luggage, you can take as many as you want. The only time the custom officer may ask you for tax is when the computers are open ( I mean in the box--which I think is logical to ask for custom duty)

you can't take two.


otherwise they will charge you the custom Taxes.


So be Aware!!!

I did that once but luckily there was no one where they check your bag. So just snuck it in. Haha.


But legally I think they will make you pay.

well you can take one laptop if you are girl otherwise no??


i am telling you because i faced same prb when i came from UK.


so be careful brother


 


and you can take two if that is older then 6 month

you can take as many as you want. May need to pay proper tax though.

Yes you can, my roomates are taking more than 2 laptops everytime they go !! just be sure that u put one in hand carry and one in loggage :: one of my roomates took three including brand new iMac , 2 on hand carry and one on bag !!
