Rural Assistance Nepal (RAN) is a UK registered charity working in Nepal (www.rannepal.org). It supports the salaries of some teachers working in a few government schools, as well as a couple of nurses (midwives) working in a remote sub-healthpost in the lower part of Solukhumbu, a day's walk from alleri. RAN is also currently working on setting up a community hospital in [Disallowed String for - use of word not allowed]bang, in the mid-western region of Nepal, close to Pyuthan and Rolpa districts that have very poor access to medical services.

Please visit RAN's website for latest news and more information on projects and how you can help.
